Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs to exceed customer’s expectations.
  • Responsible for customer assistance, cash register operation, sales / monetary transactions, opening / closing procedures.
  • Maintain positive customer and employee relations; respect co-workers, handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution, in case complain not sorted, report it immediately to line manager.
  • Assist with inventory, inbounding, out bonding, pricing, display, merchandising and placement of stock on sales floor, stock rotation and mark-downs to ensure sales targets are achieved.
  • Assist with tidying up or arranging merchandise and housekeeping tasks to ensure neat, clean, and safe working environment.
  • Use proper handling techniques and equipment to ensure safe handling of merchandise.
  • Follow store policies and procedures as well as general company policies.
  • Be aware of possible damage, theft or potential safety hazards, reporting observations immediately to line manager
